At mum’s house alone

This is a selfie of me in the kitchen this morning, the sun was out. Mum was so confused today. She asked questions but I couldn’t reply in a way that she could understand. Even one word written down is not understood. Then she cried. She doesn’t realise she has her own bedroom in the Care Home, or even the concept of her own bedroom.
There’s no activity I can think of except roaming the corridor and communal spaces with mum. And look at photo books if she’s in the mood.
