Buff-tailed bumblebee

Woke to a nose coated in blood again this morning, which is caused by the “eye” ointment I have to apply twice a day.  I might put it on earlier in the evening instead of when I go to bed.  I’ve to keep the wound clean and dry, which is a bit difficult considering the ointment is wet.  It’s not the wound that’s leaking, it’s the surface blood from the procedure.

Today I’ve done all the ironing and this afternoon have pottered in the greenhouse, tidying up a few of the plants.

I found a little caterpillar in the greenhouse (extra), which I think is a large yellow underwing.  The bumblebee was sheltering on top of one of the conservatory doors out of the wind.
