Going shopping!

I am looking for a little help here!  This image, and to two extras, were taken with a 35mm lens, as you know I always use a 50mm lens.  The vast majority of my 50mm shots are not cropped, however the three images here are all cropped.  Generally I dislike cropping, but with the wider field I find it difficult not to crop.  So the 35mm shots require more work on the computer to get the final image.  I think that the final image should be taken in the camera and not in the PC.  Should I stick with 35mm or go back to 50mm?
