Sunflowers

21.2C with a rainy morning. Drying up through the afternoon and becoming warm. Light breeze in the afternoon.

Apothecary7's day off. We went to M&S at the docks in Dundee. Tea in the cafe, goodies in the Simply Food shop.

It was wet in the morning so we waited until after lunch to take Maeve the Deerhound for a walk. We walked down to the High Street in Carnoustie and wandered along and back. On the shops that were destroyed by fire some months ago the boards covering the frontage have been painted. Sunflowers. Interesting choice :-)

I am trying some paper we bought in Edinburgh with the intention to create lino cut (ink) prints. I am not sure it is suitable for White Line Woodcut which is done with watercolour, but it is worth a go !
