Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

So as you may remember I downloaded Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" for Briar last Xmas. I'm sure she would have preferred to fly to Melbourne to see it, but tickets quickly sold out and were also "expenny" as Briar puts it. 

However, despite having the MP4 of the concert, Briar has NOT watched it. She asked me if instead, I could screen it in Kainga Ora after hours and she can watch it with her fellow Swiftys.

Of course, this means I have to be there too. I do not mind this. What I saw of the concert looked quite spectacular and her songs are not offensive. I even like one or two of them. 

However, the reaction from the rest of the Kainga Ora staff has ranged from "You're on your own Briar" to "I'd rather eat my own hair".

There have also been questions like, "Is this a TAYLOR SWIFT thing?" and "HOW LONG????"*

But I am a good friend and a nice person. And so on April 11th Briar and I will get pizza and watch Taylor from 4pm to 7pm in a training room in the building. Possibly just the two of us. 

I decided to do some "homework" to get up to speed. It passed the time while I worked and Briar sent me messages throughout.

I'm kind of hoping we can talk Olivia and Luke into attending the concert. If only for the pizza, if nothing else. We will watch Briar sing along and cry along and dance along. And maybe I'll talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me - 

BUT WEEEEE--EEEEEEE ARE NEVER EVER EVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHERRRRRRR

See? My homework is totally paying off.
