SHINE

The Shine Dome (Australian Academy of Science) is one of Canberra’s architectural landmarks, and where we park when visiting our favourite Italian restaurant.

We were celebrating my daughter’s first shift in her new volunteer role. She did a great job overcoming her extreme anxiety to show up, and the Salvos did a great job supporting her through it too! A lovely evening (not too hot), to enjoy delicious pizza.

The copper dome was renovated in the last couple of years after a nasty hailstorm and is looking resplendent. The colour of the water complements it perfectly - the same colour of some copper based minerals.
