Wednesday: Democracy

It’s municipal election day here in Belize.  My colleague kindly obliged when I asked if I could photograph the evidence that she had voted.

I was all set for a day in the office when we got a phone call from the Mayor of Chesham to say he was here in Belize and could he stop by so he came over to the house for tea.  It felt slightly random but he was a nice guy - turns out he was born in Belize so things made a bit more sense after that.
