I'm leavin' this ole skin behind!

The sound of cicadas is a constant backdrop this time of year. This capture is of a Dog-day Cicada emerging from its cast skin. Note it's semi-transparent wings and bulging eyes. This I find both attractive and repulsive at the same time!
