Beach walk....
....low tide, there's room for everyone. Today it was mainly walkers enjoying a calm morning, then the trotters arrived, a wave and smile as they passed us, horses striding it out, the beach is good exercise for their legs. My friend had never seen them at the beach before, she was quite excited. The Port Hills of Christchurch in the background.
Unfortunately it was home to house chores after our walk. It was noisy over the back fence as scaffolding was coming down on the new social housing block, six two-storied apartments with garaging, just one apartment backing onto our back yard with 2 bedrooms looking north and south, we're on the east so not too bad. At first we were dismayed but in reality there's nothing we can do, hoping the tenants or owners will be reasonably quiet. I've quite enjoyed the building process as I've never lived beside a building site before, been interesting to watch it grow.
Early blip, warm summer/autumn day, 27C, gentle whisper as a light breeze filters through the garden, breathe in breathe out, feels so good :)
Happy Thursday everyone :)
