Accidentally Soho!

I went to see ‘Accidentally Wes Anderson’, an exhibition of travel photos inspired by the film director, this morning and found it incidentally quite dull.

If you were to sum up the theme of these images I’d say it’s mainly about colour palette (which I’ll call Californian sunset). Adding to that I’d say a centralised object in a parallax corrected frame, preferably including retro typography. That’s really it. 

I’ve made a fair few pictures like this myself but have rejected them when something more dynamic comes along.

I figure this project has taken off because it had an early promotion in ‘Vogue’. It proves there is nothing like good PR!
