Spilsby?

The clock face of a long case clock (aka Grandfather clock) at my mum’s house. I can remember helping my grandad wind it up, so it’s been in our family for at least three generations, but I suspect it’s older.

I’m trying to work out what the faded text says. Might be ‘Spilsby’, which is a town in Lincolnshire, but I can’t work out what’s above it. Presumably the maker’s name. Any horologists out there?
