a bright corner

in a friend's garden. Had taken fish and chips in for lunch then FB spent a frustrating 45 mins trying to pay a bill for her online which involved ringing the bank as her card was rejected as not secured. Knew there would be trouble when she was asked security questions!!! Can't go in to the Council, can't write a cheque and can't speak to anyone. This is for green bin, now £100! Debate as to whether or not she paid it and whether or not we will.
She does have a sense of humour - when asked for expiry date, she's tempted to ask if it's for the card or herself - she is 97!
