Lewis Chessmen

A late shot tonight taken of my chess set made in the style of the Lewis Chessmen or Uig Chessmen named after the beach where they were found in the Isle of Lewis in 1831. It is thought that the chessmen were crafted by Norwegians around the 12th century.
