The Gulls…

are back inland on the moor on the nesting grounds, about fifty suddenly appeared today! Larks were singing, Grouse were paired, as were Goldeneye, Oystercatchers, Lapwings and the Greylag that are staying to nest. The frogs are in the pond, croaking, just their eyes showing above water. Spring is underway, despite it only being 7° and feeling a lot colder as the breeze is blowing from the snowfields on the Cairngorms.
