Hetty spent the best part of the morning with her groomer, Marianne.

I spent the morning with Jo to help her make a start on gaining access from her garden into her part of the cutting.

As we started work, we uncovered lots of building debris. We think a previous owner has used their stretch of cutting as a tip 

We were annoyed at first but then decided we can make use of much of it as ballast in paths we cut.

Beautiful weather and a morning well spent.

We disturbed a deer (which we thought was Clive coming through the trees) and we marvelled at a couple of low flying buzzards.
