Folk

It's been a full day. I had to get up early as our son's brother-in-law, who is a builder, was coming at 7:30 to do some odd bits of maintenance at the farm. It's amazing how many different tasks someone can sort out out quickly when they know what they are doing.

It was good to get an early start as had to be up in Blackheath by 10am for photogroup and a complete switch of focus.

Back to the farm for the afternoon for more housework and a motorcycle lesson.

Then we returned to BH this evening and had dinner with Wally at the pub before attending the Blackheath Folk Group's monthly evening.
This was another complete change of scenery. The reason we went was local bush poet and comedian, Greg North, was performing. We had him at last year's Rotary Conference and he is very good.
The blip doesn't do justice to the night, which also featured several other poets and musicians, as it only shows a fraction of the crowd (the room was packed earlier) and must have been a serious number as generally it was pretty raucous and lively. I must say it was nice to do something completely different for a change.
Now back in the valley.
