The Last Hour

I miss the days somehow of late. Perhaps because it is cold. Perhaps because I am testing the waters of self-employment. Here I grab one shot in the town park as the last of the afternoon sun is claimed by the approach of the evening.

I was pleased with my confident responses to problem solving during the week. My intentions were genuine. I saw a commercial project achieve some slick shape assisted by my input.

I like to share. The poetry of John Shaw Neilsen has been for me a life blood since I was a student in the 60s and found an anthology of his poems. The country of the South East and the border is the country of JSN. You can catch glimpses of it especially in light. I think of him as a great artist as a poet and not always brilliantly happy, not always brilliant, nevertheless his poems include the most lyrical and delicate of the English language. We are generally familiar with 'The Orange Tree', which is best read for individual enjoyment.
