Waving not Drowning?

Another day of rain! Whilst I was walking round the field there was an ominous and long roll of thunder which saw me heading for the shed as fast as possible on a soggy field in the rain! We left shortly afterwards - Oscar looked more miserable than me! 
This is the hand I bought in the second hand designer shop! It is life sized! There was an article yesterday about how the various businesses trading in second hand clothes are struggling - all making a loss last year. The market is simply drowning  in clothes and for those dealing directly with fashion brands the cost of sorting, selling on is not cost effective. Given  the big fashion houses have 6 shows a year, and high street brands often introduce new clothing every two weeks, it's not surprising. The article stated that the  government needed to address this problem to help businesses and reduce the impact on the environment. Maybe this explains the ridiculously low prices on ebay and vinted, often for nearly brand new items.
