Katakolon - archaeological site of Olympia (5 Mar)

 Despite the pouring rain, I followed the guide completing the walk through the site.as far as to the stadium, east of the sanctuary of Zeus where sporting events of ancient Olympic Games were held. I managed to take some images. This is the Philipeion, Olympia, the famous Ionic circular memorial in limestone and marble.
