Snow shoe team

The snow fall hasn’t been great so far in the Swiss mountains so the village we are staying in is below the snow line.
We took a chair lift up higher and donned snow shoes for a walk round. First time doing this for 4 of the group (of 6). After 10 mins of shuffling around 2 gave up and went off to get their skis!
The rest of us persevered, main problem was finding the start of the trail we were planning to do. We eventually resorted to making our own trail and pottered off up round the mountain - ending at a restaurant for coffee. A gentle start!
