China shop

Neaversons used to be a fabulous china shop, packed full of treasures. The sloping mirrors in the window added an air of opulence to the Wedgewood and Crown Derby, making them real objects of desire.

In recent years it has been a succession of unsuccessful cafes and bars; I’m not even sure what it is now. The mirrors are surviving - albeit a bit rusty around the edges. I can relate to that!
