First Bloom

The first clematis flower I’ve seen this year, seems early but I’m no clematis expert.
It was a cracking morning for a wander around the golf course though more rain hasn’t helped the ground any. We need a warm wind! Later I wandered again, down to Stockbridge this time. As always, shops and cafes are closing and others taking their place; seems that optimism never dies. There’s even a new charity shop with the return of St Columba’s, a couple of years after they closed their previous shop. They’ll last, no overheads.
Having done with wandering, I drove to tenpin practice where I shared the spoils with JacktheLad. We both need to improve a bit for tomorrow’s league match though!
