Windmills of Fuerteventura

These windmills are dotted all over the Fuerteventura landscape. We keep having to stop the car so I can jump out to photograph them!

We hiked up to Fuerte's largest reservoir today, which is supposed to be a great site for birds. When we got there, there was no more than a puddle behind the large stone dam. Rather worrying, I would have thought! Because of the lack of water there weren't many birds, but we did see a pair of Egyptian vultures, which was rather exciting.
