Cardiff Bay

I walked into Cardiff from my AirBnb* and met the guys for breakfast at The Ivy, after which we walked down to Cardiff Bay for a mooch about and a couple of beers. All very pleasant.

And the day continued in that vein. We had a trip out to Whitchurch, where we briefly saw Ash's sister, Lydia, again. She's a jeweller - she made our wedding rings - and she's massively busy at the moment as her rings have been used for the new Doctor Who series, actually modelled by the Doctor himself.

Despite being so busy, she took my wedding ring, yesterday, to resize and brought it back today for me to try on. (Still a tad too large.) 

And in the evening, we all went back into Cardiff for a curry. A splendid end to another trip. 

*Nicer and cheaper than a hotel, especially when you take the (ridiculous) cost of parking into account.
