Mains Castle

A very sunny and pleasant day but with a biting cold when we walked round the loch this afternoon.  We met Maeve by chance and walked with her, which was nice.  

In the morning we danced, so we only did one round of the loch, and left Maeve to do another while Brian waited in the car, having a wee sleep.

Our very own castle in East Kilbride was restored from a ruin some years ago and is now a family dwelling.  There was talk of it being used for weddings, but I believe that they did not get planning permission to do this, which was rather a pity as it would be a lovely venue for a wedding.
