Aurora borealis

We made  a start on prepping the Lodge but as we have no guests for two or three weeks ther eis no rush.  I took my usual walk to the bins shots and then we went home.

In the evening Clickychick saw a comment on the village Facebook page that the Aurora could be visible from anywhere in the UK.  My app showed a lot of activity.  So we grabbed the gear and headed out on to the old Keswick road (more chance of some foreground interest).  According to my app we arrived as the activity was starting to fade when we arrived.  The resulting shots aren't brilliant but they are the only ones I have ever managed.
