Mess.
The bad photo is of our lemon tree.
I have recently lost lucidity, being unable to think clearly. It's nine months since I last saw L, my eldest grandson, That is the length of a whole pregnancy.
Just a few days ago I heard that he had taken part in a selection for a gov.t something or other, so after poking around on the web, I discovered that it was a pre-selection test for the air force accademy.
130 places for over 3100 applicants, to be held in six sessions over three days.
Yesterday morning, the first image to appear on my phone, without searching, was of a gigantic hall containing twenty rows of tiny desks, with about twenty in each row and a youngster scribbling away on each.
Center front in the picture, a bit blurred, was a young man who looked just like L.
Front row with plenty of leg room.
All the others had their legs sticking out to the side, but this one had his long legs straight out n front with ankles crossed.
The others were hunched up, but not him. .he was looking totally relaxed and just getting on with it.
Black shiny shoes..., there goes the mother, while others had sport shoes.
Black trousers.... the mother again.
Glasses... sometimes he wears them.
Slim upper body with biceps visible through his jumper.
It all fits. Was it him?
Hair tied up in a top knot to keep all that daft hair away from his eyes.
Last night in a dream, I asked his father what his current hair style is and he shouted at me without answering.
