Lunch time swim

Morning walk with Ella, we went to Highdown as the least mud swamp like place around - that’s a chalky hill for you. It was such a beautiful day, the sea looked flat and blue from the top of the hill.

The reality a few hours later was mainly flat but sadly not blue yet, still sand churned up brown. Still breathtakingly cold when we first got in and then was fine. (Still bloody cold obvs but if you talk enough you don’t really notice so much).

Then i lay on the sofa and watched a film (Ferrari - was good), made dinner, back out for swimming lessons. Am bone weary. And a five day week at work ahead! I think it will be pretty peaceful though- I need to write a Big Plan. And a job description for myself.
