Alnwick...

...gardens...

A lovey walk around the gardens although not much to see it being winter...  I think it would be worthwhile having another visit in the summer sometime.  We did the tour around the poison garden which was fascinating!

We took the A697 back home but then detoured off to Kelso for lunch.  There wasn't much open being a Sunday but I have been before and lots of lovely little shops.  Then back up the road!  A lovely and much needed wee trip away!
