Five Ladies In A Boat
I thought for a moment that the Stitch & Bitch ladies from Looe had come to Fowey this morning for a row (& bellow?). Looking more closely though I realise they are a different, more energetic group. Hats off to them for doing this, it looked like pretty hard work. I did some rowing at uni and it's not something I would get up early on a Sunday morning for.
I took the photo this morning from our balcony before we set off for home. We are back safely now. It was an easy drive traffic wise, but the car was being a bit of a pain. The 'infotainment' system started to play up when we were about halfway home. It started by messing up the satnav map, then randomly switching from page to page, and then started switching radio channels. I was happily listening to Cerys on Radio 6 when it switched to Radio 4, then jumped all over the place. Then it tried to download a podcast from Radio Berlin (?). I got most worried when it started reading my phonebook and assigning contact numbers to speed dial settings. I thought it was going to start ringing someone. There was nothing I could do to stop it. The satnav totally stopped and started directing me to come off the M5 every time we came to a junction. After we stopped at Gloucester Services it seemed to reboot itself but I've lost all my radio station settings. I need to look at it again tomorrow.
The curry last night was excellent, and I'm not sure why but our drinks were free. I think maybe they thought the service was a bit slow, and they hadn't got my booking in the diary, although they did fit us in. We hadn't complained though.
I'm way behind now on blip but will catch up tomorrow I hope.
