It's (dried) Flower Saturday!

Yesterday I might have put up a shot of the drying red roses had the amaryllis not bloomed so instead I'm featuring them, or rather it,  today.  Most of the roses have drooped as they dried but this one has remained upright and open.
This morning Mr MC went out early to umpire hockey in the pouring rain and I managed to clean the ensuite, our bedroom and the main bathroom before settling down to an afternoon of watching old films on London Live:  I watched Women of Twilight by myself before Mr MC joined me  for The Way Ahead and John and Julie, which excitingly was in colour!  Only one of the films was made before I was born - oh dear!
