I didn't take any pictures today but J sent me this one of the kittens which her son was getting.  It sounds like they are surrogate babies and I am sure will very soon rule the roost!

OH was playing golf today and I had a sad people shift.  I felt a bit drained at the end but managed to call into The Range on the way home to quickly grab a few cheap frames.  Home and No.2 had arrived to return my car which he had borrowed for a few days while his was having a MOT.  He was in 'rant' mode so we listened (not much opportunity to interject).  He worries and overthinks too much and has a tendency to 'catastrophise ' - is that a word?  But he messaged me when he got home to say he was sorry and he was ok and all was good?  Here's hoping.  Just when you think you are on an even keel?  

We watched One Life with Anthony Hopkins - great story about Nicholas Winton and the Kinder Transport - reliving the horrors of WW2.  Good story but not sure it was a great film?
