Walk this way!

I went into Perpignan today to do some shopping and for a change stayed until late at night. Usually we go by bus and leave early evening when the last bus goes so have rarely seen it after dark but tonight we were going to a social event organised for English-speaking people in the local area. On the way we noted there was a trail of lights on the walls and pavements in the old town and occasional lit arrows like this one . 
It was a good job the night was dry and not too cold as more people than expected turned up and were spilling out of the little Epicerie we were meeting in and taking over the nearby pavement. A good evening and an unexpected bonus for me was finding a potential  French teacher .
