Find your own adventure

We went with friends to a curry and film evening, with a range of films including amazing teenage mountain bikers, a ridiculous sky-diver, a climber running what seemed to be the entire Dolomite range in one day, and some lunatic snow-boarders.  My favourite was Against the Loch which showed Ross Edgely swimming continuously in Loch Ness for 52 hours 39 minutes and covering a distance of about 49 miles.
On the way to Broughton-in-Furness we stopped at Lake Coniston for me to have a swim.  I lasted about 5 minutes.  Still, as I'm sure Ross would say, each to their own adventure...
