The Ca'd'Oro building, Glasgow
The Ca' d'Oro building is a famous landmark in Glasgow, and based on the Ca'd'Oro in Venice.
We had an afternoon tea in Glasgow today with C and K...... a Christmas present. It was lovely to be able to relax and chat with the girls, and the food was nice too. We were up on top of the building, and we had great views of the surrounding city. I have uploaded some extras, one of St. Georges Tron Church from the Carlton George, where we had our afternoon tea. Also the top of Princes Square, and everyone loves McIntosh's Willow Tearoom. Lots of buskers around; we were hoping to spot Chloe, the granddaughter of our friend, who is at Glasgow University and often busks with her saxophone in Buchanan Street...... but no luck today.
Also one of us which the waitress took..... Bob obviously didn't get the memo about stripes!!!!
