Snow

Last night’s rain turned to sleet then snow. There was even a bit at  “ground level” in Keswick. The Fells looked stunning coated in white. We went out for our customary pre departure brunch but LooseCanon’s stomach had to rumble for a while as I wanted to walk to the lake to take photos before it clouded over. Good move as it really was the best part of the day.
It was cold fresh and perfect.
The Derwentwater Launches seem to have started running again, and this one looked good against the snowy backdrop of Causey Pike in the distance.
We’re home now after a relatively easy journey.
