Rocky beach

We had a quick walk along the promenade this morning, turning round at the pier, where I took this picture looking along the sand dunes beach towards Maspalomas.

Back at the hotel we had a coffee and Cola Zero before going up to our room to finish packing.  We are now in reception, having paid the bill (gulp!) and waiting to go out for lunch at 1 p.m.  The bus to take us to the airport is due at 1510 for a 1750 flight back.  I gather it will be a chilly drive home.

Just heard that I had an image held back in last night’s three-way competition, along with two other women from our club, and we all got top marks.  We were still beaten into second place overall, but I’m pleased we didn’t let the club down.
