Mardi Gras revellers

I sat by the window in the local, camera at the ready, hoping to snap a dressed up Mardi Gras reveller or two. It worked last year but this year it was slim pickings. They were out there, but more subdued.

On we went to King Street and I saw the group in my main but the person in white kept her back to me. What made her turn around? A reveller on our side of the street was carrying bottles of alcohol but the paper bag was not strong enough. She was left with a waste of alcohol and broken glass. She was with friends so we left them to it.

My extra is a reveller carrying a milk crate for standing on to watch the parade.
