An early morning start, playing with this little one, who loves to wake up early. At least it means mum and dad could get an extra couple of hours sleep!
Then JP and I headed into drizzly London for the day. We walked along the Thames, hoping to go into one of the rooftop gardens but they were both shot to walk ins. Never mind, we walked to St Paul’s cathedral instead. We hadn’t been in for years so loved wandering around, just gazing at it all. The commentary we had was really good, letting you dip in and out of things. Such a lovely experience.
We then walked to the Sondheim theatre and saw Les Miserables. JP bought tickets for our wedding anniversary last year. It was just so brilliant, and we had really good seats with a fantastic view.
Then back to Tonbridge Wells on the train. A bit of chaos as trains were cancelled from Charing Cross so had to goon a couple of packed underground trains, but all was good and we even managed to get seats on the train from London Bridge in the end. Bek picked us up from the station.
What a fab day.
