FIRST DAY OF MARCH

This large flowering shrub, in front of
my neighbor’s house may be a type of
Acacia. It is very happy in this location
& reliably blooms every year in early
Spring.

Don’t let that bit of blue sky fool you.
The mountains of California are
getting lots & lots of snow; but, we are
getting a gentle, steady rain.

I ran errands early & have stayed home since returning. We skipped our afternoon walk to snuggle up & read, then take a nap.
Tomorrow will be another rainy day, but
with wind. It will be a good day to make
soup or bake…
