Natures beauty

With all the c**p in my world at the moment (sorry no good news yet on either Mrs D's Dad or my step-dad), it svery easy to sink in to a well of despair, and ignore
the world around you - hence no blip (and no comments on others) for 3 days!

Whilst out wandering today I managed to lift my head about the horizon, and noticed a tree which I think is some form of varigated maple (but I'm no expert on such things). I looked at the leaves and realised how wonderful they are, both aesthetically, and functionally. Rather naughtily I picked one and carried it home to take some shots of. With a bit of backlighting from my flash, this is my favourite shot of the ones taken.
