Friday
I asked Donald if he'd like to do a shop at Tesco Colinton, taking his walker on the bus, or rather walk up the road to the small tesco store. After much pondering he was of the strong opinion that the walk up the road would be his preference. So that's what we did. An enjoyable little trip, me with the shopping trolley and him with his walker. I did forget when we came away to put the trolley with the coin back, if it had been a £1 coin I most likely would have remembered, miser that I am.
We came back with some nice fresh salady stuff for our lunch.
Later in the afternoon two engineers who were in the building anyway popped in to look at our wifi and landline problems and fixed them both. Well done those men.
On a phone call to Ronnie he suggested we might like to watch 'The Durrells' on Netflix, nice gentle watching, he said, so Donald and I watched two parts of the first series and liked it enough that we'll watch further episodes. I thought it made a change from all the cops/murdery things that I've been watching, I don't think they're inducive to restful sleeps.
