5 Broken Cameras

Went with two other blippers (Mishkid and Hamp5on), amongst others, to see "5 Broken Cameras", a 2011 documentary film co-directed by Palestinian Emad Burnat and Israeli Guy Davidi. Emad buys his first camera to record his youngest son growing up, but ends up filming the protests in his village about the occupation - and gets his cameras repeatedly smashed up by the Israeli soldiers. A witness to the power of photography.

Pretty sure I first heard of this film here on Blip. Here we are in front of Lichfield Garrick where we went to see it, with another blipper getting HER blip of the day.

And summer seems to have retreated again... cold and rainy.
