Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . to be inside looking out

We headed south early this morning to see good friends Bob and Helen who live in the North Pennines.  

We'd been keeping an eye on the weather forecast for this part of the country because today it wasn't all that great.  There was a band of sleety snow moving in mid-afternoon - but we hoped we could get there before it arrived.  And fortunately, that proved to be the case. 

This is how the weather looks now - from the inside of this lovely, comfortable and cosy cottage.  I think we'll be staying in . . . . . . .
