Kimono

Finished at last.

When we lived in Aviemore I was part of a small quilting group. I still meet with the ladies when we are in the area. For the last three years we have set ourselves a challenge and meet in the spring to show our work. For the most recent challenge we each took away a strip of fabric with kimono designs. (See the leftover squares on the left). We met in May but I hadn't finished my one. The resultant items were quite different and the others were excellent.

lunched and spent the afternoon with the family. The three older grandchildren and Mum and Dad fly out to Canada tomorrow morning for 5 weeks
