Foreman's Cottage
I went into the Sheeps Hoose first thing this morning. Having previously described the lonely call of a Golden Plover I had another ‘avian moment’. Again, I didn’t see the bird. But it was the utterly diagnostic rapid wingbeat of a Raven. Maybe it had been on top of the shed. A truly wonderful moment. CMC was up in the village visiting folk so I used my time to prepare for tonight’s Parish Whisky Club event – which I won’t be hosting. It takes plenty of preparation. Tonight I’ll be using my new run up.
Today’s Lunch was accompanied by some blistering marimba work by Ruth Underwood. Refreshed I then cleaned out the shed gutters and chopped some kindling.
A very rare outing to Foreman’s Cottage. Never previously Blipped. Don’t worry you’ll never see it again. And another item that you’ll never read about in the New York Times – Mrs Linklater is still swithering about her proposed retreat. Why do folk persist in blaming Jimmy Spankie.
Project 1, at HQ, has progressed.
