Free ice cream!

I got to Waterloo for an early train home…Vikram having gone to LA I couldn’t leave the dog for too long….only to find a huge digital billboard saying ‘if you’re waiting for the 1600 to Portsmouth Harbour help yourself to a free Magnum.’  Well, colour me excited!  Obviously it was just a man with a stand handing out ice-creams,  you didn’t have to prove you were on the train.  But it was rather pleasing to see the whole carriage munching on Magnums as I got on.  

Not really the weather for it.  

I would have liked not to go up to London today as I had plenty to do in terms of home working but needed to sign off VFX  again.  

Quiet evening at home. I made a cheat’s mac ‘n cheese as instructed by Nigella Lawson, with evaporated milk and eggs. It was disgusting!  It was like macaroni-cheesy scrambled egg.  All the comments said how creamy and delicious it was so I have no idea what I did wrong….
