Buttons and beads

I made my second visit to the U3A beading group today. I’m not doing conventional beading but will use buttons and beads to make some pictures. I just have so many buttons to use up. This is a new activity for me, so will be interesting!!! The picture on the right is the planned item !!! 

We meet in the Community room in Waitrose’s which today was toasty warm, most welcome as we were freezing outside. 
When I went to collect my coffee I saw a First Responder arriving and being directed to a gentleman in the cafe area. I thought that someone has been taken ill, but the lady in front of me in the queue said that there had been an accident in the car park. Someone had reversed through the hedge. The car was still there when I left, not sure if it had tried to reverse out or had come in through the hedge from the road. The police and ambulance were still in the road outside. 

This afternoon I was round at R & S’s minding the property waiting for Virgin!!! Another wasted visit ……I will say no more :((
