Wild (Day 3216)

Up at stupid o'clock this morning to catch the ferry to Westray. Just before i was due to drive the van on to the boat, one of the staff told me that the return sailing was "under review". He reckoned, if he were in my position, he wouldn't make the crossing. I headed home for coffee.
At a more reasonable hour of the morning I checked if a customer in Stromness was available today and, a bit later, headed west to sort out a leak for them. While in Stromness, another customer called and I was able to deal with their leak too.
Home for lunch, then off with my beautiful wife to check on the horses. Filling haynets was near impossible, as was carrying them across the field. The waves in Hoy sound were much bigger than they look in the picture.
Back home to get cleaned up then a trip to town to see how Dad is doing.
