Captain Beaky

Back from the trip to see Cathy's brother, so here's a grey heron.  

I'd been hoping that Friday would be good for wildlife but they are once again forecasting rain.  February seems to have been exceptionally wet and I must admit to having become more than a little fed up with it, I could do definitely do with a few more dry days please!

Still at least I got to photograph a short eared owl, kingfisher and hen harrier this month, that's definitely not to be sniffed at.  We shall have to wait and see what March will bring.
